SpamSentinel automatically checks all of your Inbox mail messages against a list on known Spam. It then moves it to a folder called "Spam".
Block - If you still find Spam in your Inbox, report it by clicking "Block" from your Inbox. This will move the message to your Spam folder and notify us that new spam has been detected. You are now helping to fight spam!

You can also mark email as "Newletters" and we will move it to a "News Letter" folder. This is a good place for all the product update newsletters you receive after registering for software. All future emails from this sender will be moved from your Inbox into the News Letter folder everytime that you click "Remove Spam".

Imagine, a spam email message lands in your email, you click delete and it disappears from your Inbox - and the Inbox of your family, your friends and the entire world.
SpamSentinel taps into Cloudmark's SpamNet, a worldwide spam-fighting community that gives you spam-free email just by deleting the spam from your own Inbox. Using SpamSentinel for Lotus Notes will contribute to the global fight against spam.
Privacy - No email is sent to the server, just the digest of the mail message, which is a 40 character digit "fingerprint" of the message which looks like:

SpamSentinel is available as a server service running on your Domino mail servers. This anti-spam service intercepts the mail before your users ever see it. End users still get to Block spam at their desktops, but only new spam that has not yet been reported to SpamNet.
Site Licenses - If you would like to block spam and deploy SpamSentinel to your entire organization, a site license may be the best option. Working in conjunction with Lotus Domino server's existing blocking technology, this adds a second layer of protection before the mail message even enters your organization.
First, try it on your own machine to see how well it works. Then, call us at (978) 635-1700 to discuss pricing and deployment options. Ask for Customer Support or Allison Cote. |
