You can obtain a Server or Division or Site License by calling us. We can issue licenses over the telephone. The version of the Sentinel that you are running is fully functional. All it needs is a code to "unlock" it.
Server License
A server license allows the Sentinel to run on a dedicated machine for use by as many people as are connected to it via Notes. All Tasks are queued on the Sentinel Server for running immediately or at a scheduled time.
Users can select "Run Once" to test a Task, or schedule it to run on a regular basis.
Server software can run on any of the following platforms: Windows, Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows NT
Users can still use a local copy of the Sentinel to test their tasks with the 25 record limit. Once the tasks work properly, they can copy and paste the task to the Server's copy of TASKS.NSF to run that task in production.
Division or Site Licenses
A Division or Site license allows the Sentinel to run on any number of Servers and Workstations by as many people in the department or organization (site). This option allows the most flexibility, as the organization can freely copy and utilize the Sentinel for all of the various functionality.
How To Obtain a Server License
Following this example will make it clear how to obtain a server license:
Example: Human Resources
In this example, we have a human resource database with name, address, city, state and zip, along with other information such as special courses taken, manager's name, job title, etc. The database has not been updated for address in over one year. The company has over 2,000 employees, so it is a difficult manual process.
We have been in Development Mode for one month, showing Human Resources how the finished application will look with real data. The director of Human Resources is thrilled. He wants to go into production with your application as soon as possible. You can move into Production Mode today!
1. Double click on the Sentinel Tasksicon in the Notes Workspace.
Compose a Server License Request
To compose a Server License Request in Sentinel Tasks
1. In the Sentinel Application, choose Compose....5. MayFlower Software \ 1. License Request from the Notes Main Menu.
2. The Server License Request will appear on screen.
3. E-Mail this form to: support@maysoft.com, or fax to: (978) 371-1696.
4. The next section is completed for you.

6. Sending the License to MayFlower
You can choose one of the following methods:

3. Phone us at (978) 371-3900 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern US timezone. Please have this form ready.
7. Activating your License: When you receive the License from MayFlower, do the following:
Double click on the Sentinel Tasksicon in the Notes Workspace.
Switch to the View titled 4. MayFlower Software \ 1. License Forms. This View lists all Requested and Licensed Destinations you have created.
Find the License Request that you created (Human Resources, in this example).
Enter the License from MayFlower in the License section. License xxxxxxxx
This is an 8 digit license. Please enter the license exactly. Like your Notes password, it is case sensitive. Enter the license in the same case as you received it.
Save the License Form.
8. Running Production Mode
You can now run any amounts of source information, from as many sources as you desire, into this ReplicaID Destination. You can also freely distribute the Sentinel to any party who needs to move information into this destination. That includes individuals or companies outside of your organization as well.
