mhraBecause the volume of data in our application is huge we had to split into multiple databases - one is around 20 Gig, another around 25 Gig, and the monster is currently running at just under 50 Gig.
We needed a way of searching all 3 databases at the same time and IONET fit the bill.
Not only can we search across multiple databases but I have been able to customise the search form so that no-one need know a field name, and that helps the customer experience so much.
Despite being in totally different time zones the support has been fantastic and very quick. Any suggestions that we have had to improve the product have been taken on board and delivered in super quick time. FT Search Manager

My company recently switched to ExtraFax and couldn't be happier. Seamless integration into our Notes environment as well as extremely easy installation made this decision a no-brainer for us. Our clients love being able to fax directly out of or in to Notes databases without extra interfaces. We also love the great flexibility of the software right down to the client level. Much more cost effective solution than a hosted product.

IONETThis site is a great concept & long overdue. If you're a customer looking for solutions for Notes, previously you would have started with OpenNTF, then tried a web search for commercial products (because sometimes companies want off the shelf, supported products). You probably wouldn't use the IBM Global Solutions Directory as it's a) not advertised and b) too broad-based to be useful for Notes-specific requirements.
Now you can just use this site, which I think acts as a commercial version of OpenNTF, and is just as useful. Great work.
It would be fantastic if we (i.e. the Notes community) can get web search results for say "Lotus Notes Applications" to start with OpenNTF, then this Site. ACT! for Notes

TechemeaThe ExtraFax solution is a great FAX/SMS application. It was installed in under 10 minutes(V. 7.0.2) and the configuration was done in a day (with help from the very good documentation). At last adding the users (4.000) took some time. This month we recently upgraded from V7 (7.0.5) to V8 (8.0.0) which was also done in 10 minutes with a simple update installer.
The administration from the ExtraFax server is completely done inside a .nsf application which eliminates the need to connect to any other application. The best thing is that this Notes application can be changed from your developer. So if you need to combine it with other application (for example it you wish that a 3rd party system can create fax accounts) this can be done.
Since we moved away from Cycos MSR to ExtraFax we are really happy with out solution now. We never had any issues with ExtraFax (but with MRS) and if we have questions the ExtraFax support answered very quick mostly in a couple of minutes.
So... If you are looking for a Fax solution for your Domino Environment, the ExtraFax solution is definitely something what you should look into. Extrafax

Our users love the simplicity of being able to send and receive faxes, digitally, with out having to leave their desks and stand over a fax machine. We have also successfully used Extrafax to assist us in meeting PCI Compliance requirements as we do receive credit card orders through faxes.
Extrafax is extremely easy to install and configue. Once it is up and running you can set it and forget as it works as advertised with little or no administration overhead.
The service and support we receive from Extracomm is by far the best. Never has a question gone unanswered.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to implement a digital fax solution which fully integrates with their Lotus Domino/Notes infrastructure. SpamSentinel

To reinstall all anew already there is no possibility, therefore has asked in support as it is possible to solve a problem? Nick McCann has explained that there is a possibility to receive Reporter with updating, but it is necessary that on a server has been established.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 - following its recommendations all has passed well and now we use 64 bit version which works even better! Lotus Notes is a complex program. But once you learn it, it is fantastic. For me, it is a combination of a database and an enormous filing cabinet. I can store everything in it -- documents, spreadsheets, etc on my office computer and then log in remotely from another computer and all of my information is there. When I travel for business meetings, I do not need to take all of this with me.
Furthermore, I can highly recommend the folks at Vigulus. Whenever I have a problem, they are very attentive and get on it right away. In addition, they have been able to make some custom modifications for me that allow Act for Notes to work in an ideal way for my business. I can highly recommend them. This is a great group of people. If you have a problem, they walk you through it; if you need training, they can provide that as well.
If you want a fast database that is secure and that can do just about anything, I would recommend Act! for Notes and Vigilus. Extrafax

SP Integration GmbHSince I've first used scanEZ I can't imagine working without it anymore. Not only is it a huge time saver, but it also enables me to do things very quickly which were very hard to accomplish without the tool.
Most recently I have used scanEZ's document analyzing features very heaviliy. I was analyzing a customer application with tens of thousands of documents and needed to understand the document structure. (I was preparing an export of all documents and needed to do consolidate and otherwise modify the data extensively.) scanEZ allowed me to easily group documents by field values or even @Formula expressions, test @Formula expressions on single or groups of documents or to compare multiple documents side by side. Without scanEZ I would have had to build and constantly modify views which would have been much more time-consuming.
Apart from these features scanEZ offers a variety of other tools like a really good conflicts solver, a document analyzer to find orphaned documents or documents containing reader and author fields, searching for documents by UNID, NoteID, @Formula expressions, full text index and many more.
If you are working as a Notes/Domino admin or developer, you should seriously consider taking a look at scanEZ and Ytria's other excellent tools. The lite version of the tools is free, so go and take a look. MindPlan

At first we have been using it only as a replacement for MindManager because it allowed us to work on mindmaps collaboratively. Because MindPlan stores all its data in Notes databases, we can easily work on a mindmap together on a server and we can also simply work offline with a local replica of the MindPlan database.
MindPlan is also perfectly suited for project management. For me it is the best tool for planning an application or preparing a cost estimate for a project because I can specify planned and actual duration and cost for work packages and activities and get the sum calculated for each branch up to the root node.
In addition MindPlan also displays the data in a Gantt chart with many pre-existing reports (e.g. resources, utilization) and the option to create custom reports.
Again because Notes is used as the data store, I can easily allow project members to maintain the nodes with their activities (edit status, progress etc.) without giving them write access to other nodes. ]
