A Successful Lotusphere

02/01/2008

This year, we were proud to stand at our booth with some of our worldwide resellers. Our team at the show consisted of Allison Cote, Sales Manager; Nick McCann, EU Technical Support Manager; Rich Truex, customer from Rawlings Sporting Goods; Frederic Rousseaux, IBM Business Partner from i2K in Chile; Mats Jansson, IBM Business Partner from Donova in Sweden; and Wolfgang Fey, IBM Business Partner from ebf in Germany.

Anthony Galli (product architect) and Dan Calkin (product developer) were also in attendance.

Lotusphere was an exciting show this year! We started the week by hosting our Welcome reception on Sunday late afternoon in 52* Fahrenheit/ 11* Celsius temperatures. This is not your typical, warm Florida weather. Thank you to our customers and resellers who braved the cold to join us in celebrating another year of SpamSentinel. How clever was the magician? I still can't figure out how he put the card I selected into his wallet! The showcase opened Monday to a flurry of new prospects and customers. We were told that our Moose Spam t-shirt was the best of the show! We are proud of that - for some, Lotusphere seems to be all about the free give-a-ways! Tuesday, we joined another Lotus business partner, Sherpa Software, at their welcome party. Sherpa Software has products that focus on Archiving, Compliance and E-Discovery: www.sherpasoftware.com. It was another opportunity to meet and greet customers and business partners to talk about Lotus Notes and Domino! Wednesday finished the showcase and allowed attendees to embark on a trip to Disney's Islands of Adventure. Our MayFlower team retreated to the Blue Zoo for a nice dinner and recap of the past three days.
